Jared Lane
Sports Management Course

Jared Lane founded Pro Edge Sports, LLC in 2001. He has been in the Sports Management business for over nine years. Jared has a B.S. in Business Management from Alabama State University.  He attended Duquesne University where he pursued a Master’s in Sports Leadership.  He is currently working on his Master’s in Teaching at Belmont University.  Jared is a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society for his excellence in Sports Leadership.

 

Throughout his sports agent career he has negotiated over 400 contracts and developed relationships with sports professionals in all the major professional sports leagues.  Jared has represented over 20 former NFL Players.  In addition, Jared has served as a mentor to hundreds of college sports management students over the past five years, while managing the PES Internship Program.

 

Jared has worked as the Director of Player Personnel for numerous professional indoor teams.  Jared’s ability to effectively scout talent helped him land his first NFL client by the age of 21.  Jared’s main duties within the company include managing the daily operations, contract negotiations, recruiting, player counseling, marketing, endorsements, player evaluation, media relations, sports business training and managing the PES Academy.
